History of the A-Q-PRESSOR Around 3000 B.C., the Chinese scientist, Huang Tium, was already applying acupuncture (the therapy which consists in inserting very fine needles at carefully defined places in the body tissues) to the task of diagnosing and curing many illnesses. This branch of alternative medecine has
been carried further by Russian experts, mainly Prof. I. Kutsnetsov, who
since 1979 have been undertaking research in stimulation through
acupressure. By applying to the body surface a carpet of needles closely
arranged so as not to pierce the skin, they have succeeded in achieving
the most remarkable results on the performances of many world-class
athletes. Today the original devices made with
metal needles have been replaced by a flexible instrument in
polyethylene, friendly to the skin, cheaper and more hygienic. This is
the story of the A-Q-PRESSOR. |
